THE BEACON SUBSCRIPTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
Customer details: The Beacon will not be liable for consequences that relate to any errors; including but not limited to failure to send magazines\product to the correct address. If you change your address or contact details, you need to advise The Beacon as soon as possible to ensure that the change happens on the correct issue.
All prices include GST for New Zealand sales and are in New Zealand dollars. Subscriptions are non-refundable, but may be transferred to an alternative recipient.
Renewing a subscription: Before the end of your subscription period you will receive a renewal email asking whether you wish to re-subscribe and providing instructions how to.
Cancellation: Please note that our subscription offers are non-refundable. In some cases we will refund any monies owing to you (i.e. under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993) but this will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Alternatively you can transfer your remaining issues to a nominated party. Requests for cancellations will be actioned as soon as possible; however, any refund given can take up to three weeks.
Delivery: All prices include delivery costs. Your subscription will commence once we have received payment from you and will begin with the current issue.
Back Issues: Some back issues are accessible with all subscriptions.
No liability: The Beacon nor its staff or agents shall be liable for any cost, loss or damage whatsoever arising as a result of a failure to act on delivery instructions.

Cart Abandonment. If you abandon the shopping cart without completing the purchase, we will email you to let you know.
Internal And External Use: We use your personal subscription information to process your order and provide you with customer service. We may internally use your personal information to improve the process of orders, content and layout, to improve outreach and for our own marketing efforts (including marketing our services and products to you), and to determine general marketplace information about subscribers. In order to facilitate such use, we may share your information, like the Subscriptions Team, which is a third party subscriptions management department.
THE BEACON DATA SECURITY
Data Security: The Beacon incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) (or a link to a third-party payment gateway with SSL) for all financial transactions through the Site. Access to your personal information is restricted to Staff and our third party companies needed to fulfill your subscription. Only employees or our third-party companies who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information. When you are purchasing a subscription on the Site, you access secure servers that are kept by Chargebee.
