PAPER Plus Opotiki has hired former Smiths City manager Sarah Kingi and is boosting its technology department as a result.

Business account manager Susan Woods said the company was now stocking more mobile phones, adapters and hard drives.

“We’re filling the cabinets with technology items,” she said.

“Sarah has a huge amount of knowledge in this area and we’re bringing in what sold well at Smiths City.”

Many people had come in to say hello to Mrs Kingi since she had joined the company.

“It’s great to have her here, we’re like one big family,” Mrs Woods said.

“Sarah and I are cousins.”

Mrs Woods encourages local businesses to “give Paper Plus a go” when it comes to stationery supplies.

“You’d be surprised to find we can beat other suppliers on price,” she said.

“Give us a go for quotations, plus we are local.”
