Sausages are always a good standby for dinner times when you are in a hurry.
8 precooked sausages, any flavour, sliced
2 onions, sliced
¼ cabbage, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
4 tablespoons of flour
Salt and pepper to season
Butter or oil for frying
In a frying pan, heat the butter or oil. Cook the onions and brown the sliced sausages. Place into an oven dish.
Add the carrots and the cabbage and lightly mix together.
Make gravy in your used frying pan. Brown your flour, then add the cold water gradually to the flour.
Stir until smooth and cooked. Pour over the sausage mix. Cook in a moderate oven for 30 minutes.
