OPOTIKI St John is looking at the possibility of having a health shuttle operating in Opotiki.
St John New Zealand spokeswoman Ngaire Jones said the St John health shuttle was a free community service that transported people to essential medical and health-related appointments, and then brought them home again.

“The working group has developed a questionnaire for residents to complete to ascertain the level of need in the community for a health shuttle,” he said.

Ms Jones said the questionnaire could be filled out either online or in print, or by calling 0800 785646 ext 7841 during business hours.

The final date for completing the questionnaire is May 31.
