There are many fruit crumble recipes. This one goes especially well with rhubarb but can be used with any fruit.
10 stalks rhubarb
75 grams sugar
125 grams cold butter
50 grams brown sugar
25 grams raisins
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Remove the leaves from the rhubarb stalks, wash and cut the stalk into pieces. Place the rhubarb and sugar into a saucepan over a low heat and cook for about five minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour into an oven-proof dish.
Prepare the topping
Chop the butter into small pieces and place in a bowl with the flour and brown sugar. Roughly rub the butter into the flour and brown sugar, then stir in the raisins.
Sprinkle this mixture over the hot rhubarb and bake for 15 minutes. Serve hot with cream, ice cream or custard.
