A GREAT day out was enjoyed by families at the Otakiri School Country Fair and Market over the weekend.

Traditional events such as cowpat bingo, raffles, bouncy castle and the gumboot throw were popular, as well as the cake stall, sausage sizzle and more.

Shoppers enjoyed the market stalls, while thrill-seekers got aerial views of the district with the helicopter rides that were on offer again this year.

Eastern Bay Life photographer John Morin was at the fair to capture the action.
