THE Opotiki District Library is keeping kids busy these holidays with 10 days of activities.

The daily activities begin from 10am weekdays at the old ANZ bank building on Church Street.

The temporary library location has hosted a Lego day, board games and an education session on volcanoes with earth scientist Ilmars Gravis yesterday.

Children learned about volcanoes and then made their own, making for a morning of messy fun.

Today, the library will be hosting another board game day, and a cardboard construction day tomorrow.

For more information on activities coming next week, visit the Opotiki District Council Facebook page.
